How RunPokerGames works for players and for the people who run clubs, and what to do when something is not behaving.
Sign up with a poker name, your email address and a password. It is free. Poker names are 3 to 12 letters, numbers or underscores, and that name is what other players see at the table.
Use your poker name and password on the sign-in page. It is the same password you use at the tables. There is only one. Tick “remember me” if you would rather not type it each time on that device.
Games are private to a club, and a new account starts in no club. Ask the host whose game you want to join to add you. You will see their games as soon as they do. Looking for a game to join? Try Looking for a club, a public noticeboard where players and clubs find each other.
No. An account belongs to one club at a time. If you play with two different groups, you need an account for each. A club owner cannot add someone who is already in another club.
Yes. Open Club from your account page and start one. It is free for one day, so you can set up your games and invite players before paying. See club plans and prices.
Press Play on your account page. It opens the poker room and signs you in, so you do not type your password again. On your club’s Games page, each game has its own Play button that takes you straight to that table or tournament. Everything runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.
Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha-5, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud and mixed games, as tournaments or ring (cash) games, with limit, pot-limit and no-limit betting. Each club sets up its own games; the About page lists every setting.
Yes, from your account page. There are 64 built-in avatars to choose from for free. You can also upload your own picture as a Custom Avatar (see the store below). Uploaded pictures are resized to 32×32 to match the built-in ones, and non-square pictures are fitted rather than squashed. Choosing a built-in avatar keeps your uploaded picture, so you can switch back.
Both, from your account page. Changing your password changes it at the tables too, and signs out any “remember me” devices.
On your club page, use the contact link next to your club owner’s name and start a topic. Your owner replies in the same conversation, and you can come back to it any time.
On the tournament results page.

Neither is real money. It is play money with no cash value, and your club owner decides how chips are used in their club. Know and trust your host, and know your own local laws.
You get one each day you press Play on your account page. Club owners and the site administrator can also give them.
Three extras, each 200 RPG Tokens or $2.00 a month, or all three for 500 RPG Tokens or $5.00 a month:
Players in a club on the Pro plan get all three free while their club is paid up. Each month you buy is added on to any time you already have. You can pay with RPG Tokens straight away, or by PayPal. A PayPal payment is switched on by the site administrator as soon as it arrives.
Press Hand History on your account page. Choose a game, and you get a short list of your hands, newest first, with your cards, the board and your result on each line. Show 25, 50 or 100 at a time and use the arrows to go further back. Open a hand to watch it play out on the table.
180 days. Hands older than that are removed. Without the Hand History extra you see your 20 most recent hands; with it (or in a Pro club) you see everything.
Give it 15 minutes. Hands are collected from the poker room on a schedule, not the moment they finish.
You always see your own cards. You see another player’s cards only if they showed them. That happens at a showdown, or when a player chooses to show. A hand won without a showdown stays hidden, because nobody at the table saw it either. Table chat is not included.
Hands and days played, the games you play most, your tournament record (played, wins, top-three finishes, average and best finish, knockouts, and who knocks you out most), and for ring games your net result and biggest pot. Tournament results are added the day after each tournament.
Every new club gets a free day to try it. After that see club plans and prices. A club can run up to 3 games at a time, or 5 on the Pro plan, and the Pro plan also gives every player in the club free Custom Avatars, My Stats and Hand History.
Open Subscription on your club page. It shows your plan, how long you are paid for, and every payment you have made, and you can pay there by PayPal or with RPG Tokens. If a club is not paid up it locks: its page shows only a note and the way to pay. Nothing is deleted. Your games and members come back exactly as they were the moment it is paid.
No. It is permanent. There is no edit and no delete, for anyone. A correction is a new entry, so the history of every player’s chips stays intact.
From the Games page: create tournaments and ring games, change their settings, take them offline, bring them back and delete them. New games start with sensible settings already filled in, so a name is all you need to get going. The About page explains every setting.
Only members of your club. Adding someone lets them see and join your games straight away; removing them takes that away immediately. There are no game passwords to share.
Yes. Co-owners can do everything the founding owner can, which helps when you are away. Ask the site administrator to add one.
Refresh the page fully. If you saved a link to the poker room, use play.runpokergames.com. You can also just press Play on your account page.
Check that you are in the club that runs it, and that the club is paid up. A locked club’s games are not available. If you were recently removed from a club, or you are using a second account that was never added, you will not see its games.
An uploaded picture takes a minute or so to reach the poker room. It also needs an active Custom Avatar month (or a Pro club); when that runs out, your avatar switches back to a built-in one.
Send a message. It opens a conversation you can come back to, and replies appear in the same thread. Players should ask their own club owner first about chips, accounts or games; club owners should contact the site administrator about billing, co-owners or game limits.
We count page views and visitors on our own server so we can show advertisers how many people use the site. See Advertise with us. There are no tracking cookies, and this visitor counting does not store your IP address: each day a visitor is counted with a scrambled code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. Clicks on the adverts at the bottom of each page are counted the same way. Bots are left out.
